I think I wrote before how, most of the time, parents don't really know what they're doing when raising a child. And that even though they a "plan" on how to go about it, they end up improvising along the way. That they simply need to try their best constantly to raise the child/children well.
But sometimes, despite best efforts, a child don't exactly grow up the way you hope they would. They turn out to be nothing you have imagined or prepared. And what makes it worse than not being ever certain of what you – the parent – is doing: it when people tell you how you should raise your own kid.
